Ahhh, June

Hello wonderful readers! I hope you have sunshine to enjoy. It’s been a bit cooler and damper than usual, here in Southwestern Washington State. Our garden isn’t planted yet, but I have my porch pots all prettied up—and I’m slowly hacking away at my shrubs. It seems to take so much more effort these days. I’m blaming the tools…

Our big excitement this month was the graduation of our baby girl from high school! After the four kids before her, you’d think It wouldn’t come as such a shock. You would be wrong. It was a wonderful ceremony for ten homeschool kids, and I got through my speech without crying … almost. Carolynn had quite a few people come to support her. We are so proud. Now, it’s back to writing her sci/fi trilogy and designing awesome products for her Etsy shop, Author-i-Tees. Klick on the shop name to check it out.

Also in the news … our bunnies aren’t the only ones having babies … I’m going to be a first time grandma! Our middle son and his fiancée are expecting our first granddaughter in September. You know the crochet hooks are going a mile a minute!
