Rebecca Olmstead - My Book

And I Thought Cancer Was Hard!

“Write a book,” they said…”It’ll be great,” they said…

Little did I know…

But, after three years–and I’m just talking about the publishing part, here–and three publishers, it looks like this baby is finally going to be birthed.

Loved So Much, It Hurts, is due for release this fall, maybe even sooner. This whole publishing process has been harder than both going through cancer and writing the book–okay, I may be exaggerating a little. But I have to say I have learned so much in the process, from formatting, to website design, to video production… So I can’t complain–much.

The funny thing is, this is not my first book. I was actually in the process of pitching my first mystery, when I was diagnosed with the tumor that birthed Loved So Much, It Hurts, not to mention my ministry blog, WatchGodWork.com. And while I’m itching to get back to my mystery, it won’t be the only book I’m working on.

What’s Next?

Aside from getting my online store and photo gallery operational, my husband seems to think Loved So Much, It Hurts needs a companion study guide, so that will be my next non-fiction project, along with a daily devotional based on my ministry blog’s  Promise of the Day.

As far as fiction goes, I’m excited to pick up my mystery, Dream Chaser, again which is meant to be the first in the Dreamer Series featuring a young Christian woman, Gabrielle Dorian, with the gift of dreams. I’ll be sharing more on that later. I’ve also been wanting to e-publish some of my short stories and offer them in my store. One more new thing to learn. I’m already planning trailers for these, too. Over-kill? Maybe. But fun!

I’m really looking forward to connecting with my readers and updating  you on my projects, so feel free to reach out, subscribe, and share.

Stay tuned for more. And until then, be blessed and follow your dreams!

Rebecca
