This is a quick yet in depth read on suffering and miracles. Hope and dashed hopes. Always uplifting and brutally honest. I loved to see the thread of God’s hand at work over time in the lives of this precious couple.

Rebecca’s journey and adversity with cancer was very much like what many experience themselves or by watching someone they love battle this devastating illness. Rebecca has an amazing gift to share due to her experience throughout this journey. She looked to God, FIRST AND FOREMOST. Not only did she look but She LISTENED. God had a special purpose. If we do not experience pain and adversity, just as Jesus did, how can we relate in order to share our experience, our testimony. God did not promise a life without pain, but he provided strength to endure. Rebecca listened and used her journey to help others whether one is afflicted with cancer or any other adversity in our lives. Rebecca’s story and the way it is told, her faith in God and relying upon him to use her story to,reach and give hope to others is so well told and she has the biblical knowledge to back it up. If you’ve ever dealt with, or are dealing with adversity in your life, don’t hesitate to read her book! You will be uplifted, inspired and most importantly realize we all have HOPE if we simply choose to have faith and trust in God. The author of LOVED SO MUCH IT HURTS is a talented, fine, writer. She shares her growth into knowledge of a loving God through a journey of pain and acceptance. My husband and I walked some of it when we cared for our grandchildren. Her young children had the resilience of the young and at times I wondered whom was caring for whom. My daughter-in-law intersperses LOVED SO MUCH IT HURTS with humor and and an insight into the everyday. I pray she continues in her healing and faith.

This is the perfect book for anyone who has heard their doctor say the words, "It's cancer." From the first symptoms through five years of recovery, the author honestly and clearly states her thoughts and feelings in a journal form. Her family, friends and medical team also contribute their part in her journey through a devastating illness. All the while, she never looses faith in God and hope in her survival. It is a story of up and down days, and the determination to live one day at a time.

A well written book that compiles the journaling by both the author and her spouse during the worse scare there is - cancer. Insightful look at how the author finds a closer relationship with God through this battle. Scriptures are referenced throughout - building and reinforcing faith for the author and reader. 🙏💐🙏

Amazing read! The author journals through difficult tribulations in life but continues to keep her faith strong as she sees God’s work! This book is very inspirational, I recommend to all audience!

The author was amazing telling her cancer journey, the ups and downs, but stayed focused on God. This book is full of scripture and encouragement using her personal honesty of her (and family) thoughts and emotions.
