Wishing you all a very Happy Thanksgiving! Though I’m not happy that Autumn is coming to a close and the temperature is dropping every day, I love this time to think back over the year and count my blessings. I count you as one of them.

It has also been a year of writing successes, with the publication of Promise of the Day Devotional for Victorious Living and Companion Journal, The sale of two short stories, a first place award for a short story, and the first round of revisions for my mystery, Dreams and Illusions, to be released next October. But I wanted to save the best for last.

Not long ago, I told you that my book, Loved So Much It Hurts: Purpose in the Pain, was a finalist for the Global Book Award . . . I’m thrilled to announce that it won!

I’m so excited and so thankful! I just received the new cover design this morning. I think I’ll have my artist move the badge below the title, but it is so awesome to have it on one of my books. And I’m so glad to have you along for my writing journey.
