Writing News

Dreams and Illusions: I’m still drudging away on my second revision for my editor. However … my wonderful ARC team all had a common issue with one of my characters. Sooo, they will all be happy to know that my editor finally talked some sense into me, and—drum roll, please—Tina is getting a makeover! Thank you so much, my faithful readers! Of course, you’ll have to read the final version (which you’ll all be receiving FREE when you post your reviews 😁) to find out what changed. But I have made peace with it, so it’s all good.

The actual revision work … not so much. 🙄 But release is still scheduled for October, and I want to have it on preorder for $.99 way before that.

I want my release in October to be amazing and land me at number 1 on Amazon, so I’ve been working overtime learning new skills, and I’ve also opened new Facebook and Instagram accounts. So, please find me, follow me, and share me there. I’m making it super easy by sending my Social Media links.

I would love to have you post some pictures of you with my books in your favorite reading spots, and as always, please post reviews on Goodreads and Amazon for any books you’ve read and haven’t yet reviewed. You have no idea how much that helps little-known authors, and we appreciate it so much!

Another skill I’m cultivating (besides discipline) is making “shorts/reels.” No, not the shorts you wear in the summer. I call them trailers. At least that’s as far as I’ve gotten so far. My first attempt is a trailer for Malice, Matrimony, & Murder, the anthology that my story, “Love and Snakes” will appear in. Take a look and let me know what you think. And, please share!

On the bunny front … well, spring has sprung, what else can I say? We are hitting the show circuit big time but aren’t showing many does. They’re a little busy. Here’s a peek.

Health News

My shoulder is still healing, and I’ve nearly restored full range of motion. Thank you for your prayers! May will take us back to Seattle for another ear test and to decide which ear will get surgery first. I’m racing to get my book release set up before surgery!

Crochet & Sewing News

I’ve been having fun crocheting hats and scarves, and sewing this year. Specifically, messy bun beanies. I gave a couple away before I took pictures, but here’s my girl, Carolynn modeling her beanie and infinity scarf, as well as a reversable apron I made for her work. 😊
